DNA of Relationships Seminar

Have you ever felt as if you are repeating the same mistakes in your relationships?

This interactive small group session for 24 men and women will embark on a seven-week study of Dr. Gary Smalley's book, "The DNA of Relationships." This class will provide you with powerful insights into your own relational dance, show you how to create safe haven relationships and help you discover that God designed you for satisfying relationships.

This small group will meet from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoons starting with orientation on April 20. The fee for the program is $150, which includes the book, beverages and meeting room expenses. There must be a minimum of 20 participants to run this program. Anger Management Support Group

Sin damages the spiritual dimension of relationships. Sin damages the spirit, alters attitudes and produces the YOU and ME mentality. Sin turns each person back into self, breaking apart the WE. Look closely at the spiritual wisdom in Eph. 4:26-27: "In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold."

So what should you do with your anger? The goal of anger management therapy is not to eliminate anger, but to use it as a signal that there is a problem or issue that you need to address. Individuals in the group learn how to slow down their arousal when angered, so that it can be processed and acted on in a righteous, godly and proper way without the negative consequences that result when it is uncontrolled.

Anger Management Support Group will be an ongoing group meeting from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. every Sunday starting April 20 at Veteran's Auditorium in Culver City. It is open to all adults seeking group anger management. The price is $25 per person per session or $150 for eight weeks.
