How long do I have to register online for the Southwest Singles Conference? You may register for the Singles Conference all the way up to the 3rd day of the event. How do I register for the Singles Conference? At the Registration Tables of the 2008 Singles Conference, at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, in Scottsdale Arizona. The price is $79.00. There is a Pro-rated price of $26.00 for one days attendance. For 2 or more days participation, the complete registration price of $79.00 applies. What are the Pre-paid items? The four pre-paid items this year are as follows:
Event Descriptions & Prices Leadership Breakfast Reception "A Faithful Witness"- hosted by Shawn Wooten. This will be a special opportunity to hear from our guest speaker on leadership principles. Whether you have been a leader for a short or long time, aspire for leadership or just want to learn more, come enjoy the fellowship accompanied by a nicely plated breakfast. All Are Welcome! There will be a short message followed by a time for questions. Breakfast Includes: Freshly squeezed OJ, Scrambled Eggs, Skillet Potatoes, Banana Nut Muffin, Coffee and Tea Service. [Price is $13.00 per person] Dinner & Improvisation Show "Please join The Turning Point Improv Troupe for an evening of fine food, faith-filled fellowship, and foolishly fantastic frivolous fun." Laugh and enjoy as you are being filled with humor and a full Dinner Buffet. [Price is $7.00 per person] Which Singles Conference Should I attend, this one in July or the one in Dallas in August? If you are part of a southwest church, you will want to attend this Singles Conference. This year, the Singles Conference has been moved to Arizona in order to participate in the gathering of the all the churches in the Southwest. Each of these conferences, the Southwest Singles Conference, Phoenix, AZ and the Southwest Singles Conference, Scottsdale, AZ will be held in different venues. However, special designated dates and times have been set up to fellowship with one another (married, singles, campus, teens, pre-teens and even the teeniest of us). While it is a southwest family church conference, ALL CHURCHES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND! The West Coast Singles Conference (Entitled: The Southwest Singles Conference: "A Faithful Witness") has been a favorite for the last 6 years. It has been held on the west coast and many people from all over the world have attended. Remember! If you're part of the Southwest family, you'll want to attend the Southwest Singles Conference. Are we meeting with the Southwest Christian Conference? Yes, on July 25, Friday evening at 7:30 pm and again on July 27th, Sunday morning. We will be joining with the Southwest Christian Conference at the Dodge Theater in downtown Phoenix. How Do I register for the Scottsdale Plaza Resort? You may register for The Scottsdale Plaza Resort by calling (800) 832- 2025 and ask for the Los Angeles Church of Christ Group rate of $89.00 (+ tax), per night, per room, (up to 4 guests) Why should I attend the Southwest Singles Conference and not the Southwest Christian Conference? There will not be any Singles Classes or Activities at the Southwest Christian Conference, Phoenix, AZ. However, the Southwest Singles Conference, Scottsdale, AZ has been tailor made from a singles perspective and based on singles requests. It is also starting a day earlier than the Southwest Christian Conference. This conference has all the spiritual foundations with the opportunity to socialize with other singles, in the different ministries, across the country. The Southwest Singles Conference is unique in that it is planned, developed, organized and ran primarily by singles. While both conferences are part of the Southwest reunion, each has been designed from the different disciple's perspectives and needs. The Southwest Singles Conference designed for singles and The Southwest Christian Conference designed for Families, including - Married, Campus, teens and pre-teens.
